Butterbeer Recipe (Non-Alcoholic)

Ingredients
  

Butterscotch Sauce (makes up to 1 cup of sauce)

  • 75 grams unsalted butter
  • 132 grams packed brown sugar
  • 95 ml liquid whipping cream/heavy cream

Butterbeer

  • 80 grams butterscotch sauce (made from the recipe below) you can reduce or increase the quantity based on your sweetness preference
  • 250 grams vanilla ice cream
  • 330 ml cream soda (I used Canada Dry)
  • Sweetened whipped cream & butterscotch sauce for topping

Instructions
 

  • Make the butterscotch sauce: Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and cook on medium-high heat while stirring until the butter melts. Once the sauce starts boiling, bring the heat down and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Take off the heat and let it cool slightly before using.
    75 grams unsalted butter, 132 grams packed brown sugar, 95 ml liquid whipping cream/heavy cream
  • Place all the ingredients for the butterbeer - ice cream, butterscotch sauce, and cream soda, in a blender and mix until everything is combined and well incorporated.
    80 grams butterscotch sauce (made from the recipe below), 250 grams vanilla ice cream, 330 ml cream soda (I used Canada Dry)
  • Pour the butterbeer into a tall glass or cup and top with sweetened whipped cream and extra butterscotch sauce. Enjoy cold.
    Sweetened whipped cream & butterscotch sauce for topping

Notes

Storage:
The butterscotch sauce can be stored in the fridge for up to two weeks in an airtight container.
